Although we were not blood relatives I always loved Juanema and her sisters like they were, I even called their parents Aunt Wilma and Uncle Dee. She had the most beautiful smile and always lifted my spirits! She was a very special lady!!! I loved her!

~Now holding hands with her love, looking down from heaven above. A sweet woman with a heart of gold. She now has beautiful wings that match her soul. She smiles on us from that holy place. A job well done as she finished her race.~

May God continue to bless you and comfort you.

Love the Avery family.

dear john and deb,
sad to see aunt juanima leave us but grateful for where she is this day, reunited with uncle Aubrey and so many others, aunt juanima was one of the most loving, hospitable, humorous ladies I ever met. her care for my mom was amazing and touching. I do believe I could write a book about her, her stories, texas sayings and expressions never ceased and always made us laugh or cry. john, I am sorry I couldn't speak to you when you phoned but I knew I would be unable to respond without tears. when aunt juanima let me know uncle Aubrey died I tried to talk to her but couldn't. this is the passing of an era and I will miss her. We send our love and prayers for all,

Juanema was one of the first people we meet when we moved to Olney in 2007. She was by far the classiest woman we've ever met. A heart of gold, an amazing Christian lady. We love her and she will be missed. Prayers for the family

Juanema was such a sweetheart, friend and neighbor! We called her our backdoor neighbor. She would come through the alley to the back door, holding one of her famous coconut cream pies to repay Garland for shoe repair or leather sewing he refused to take any money for! We were proud to call them our friends! Your family is in my prayers as you grieve for such a wonderful woman!
