Leona had that gift of being everyone's "grandma". A caregiver of her children, grandchildren and blessed with great grandchildren. They all experienced her love, instruction, and care.

I just want to say how sorry I am at the loss of Leona. She was always so sweet to me, I never saw her in a bad mood! I remember all the times she would come into the drug store and we would just chat about absolutely everything! It seemed like we could visit for hours!! She will definitely be missed.

Leona was a force of beautiful nature. She was kind, generous , always upbeat and always had a funny story to tell or tease you till you fell over laughing. And she was the strong backbone of the family that got things done, whatever the cost. Our hearts are breaking because we considered her and the Hickams as family and will keep you all in our prayers and always in our hearts.
