Sending my loving thoughts and prayers to all. She was an amazing lady, wonderful 42 teacher and teammate, and best great-grandma to many including Addison and Caroline. I will always remember Addison asking why her name was Green instead of Blue (because of the color of Granny’s shirt that day). She became Granny Blue for her from then on. I was very fortunate to have known her and will miss her greatly.

Going to Granny Greens house in Olney when I got to visit my grandmother Karen in the summers and eating her amazing breakfast is a memory that I hold dear to me. I love and miss you Granny Green and I know that you in a better place laughing with God and making him your amazing breakfast.

Granny Green was one of the kindest and most genuine ladies. Her beauty shined from within, and she lived well and loved large. Our family was truly blessed by her friendship. She was such a joy to be around and will definitely be missed by all who knew her.
