Back in my junior high days, I worked for August in the summer hauling hay, plowing, kerosening mesquites, and tending to the pecan orchard. I always looked forward to lunch time at their home. Edith was the best cook! Good lady! May she rest in peace!

Your precious mother became a part of our family when she married my Uncle Richard Jackson. Edith was a dear, sweet lady and showed much love to my uncle. She was a blessing to the family. We hold good memories of our visits in her home. Edith always made one feel comfortable when visiting and she was an awesome cook. We'll never forget our extended visits with Edith after she moved to the retirement home. She always had a big smile when she greeted us each time! Our heartfelt sympathy is extended to all of Edith's dear family, in this time of bereavement. May God comfort each of you and grant you peace in the days ahead. Love you.
