Alec Bryan Carter

Austin, Texas ~ Alec left us at the early age of 20 years old. He had so much more life to live and for that we are truly mournful. We believe his Uncle B, who also left us way too early at 20 years old, came down and with angel wings took him to his dwellings above. He was loved by many and will always be cherished in thoughts, hopes and missed to unexplained depths.

Alec was born in Graham, Texas on January 8, 1998 and was taken from us on March 4, 2018. His death is still unexplained at this time. But he loved life, his friends, and his family, especially his "Moma Bear" and his sister Erin.

Alec leaves behind his mother, Salina Carter and sister Erin Fuentes of Austin; grandfather Kyle Carter and wife Kerry of Austin; Grandmother Sudie Wade and husband Dirk of Olney; and Grandma Fran Harris; Dad, Ira Gilmore and sister Katey of Olney; Aunt Fallon Bowers and husband Andy of Olney, along with his cousins Jaylee Mae, Bradi Grace, and Cashton Cole; and many other aunts and uncles, cousins, and extended family along with many cherished friends.

He was preceded by his grandmother Norma Thompson, great-grandparents Shirley "Mimi" and Bill Turner and Dorothy and Sarge Thompson of Monahans and his Angel watching over him, Brandon Cole Carter.

Although his life ended unexpectedly at such a young age he will always be an angel in our hearts and our memories. We miss and love Alec. We know he's up in heaven with all of his favorite shoes.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at Restland Cemetery in Olney under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.lunnfuneralhome.com.
