Alice Parkhill, age 59, died Monday May 14, 2012. Private memorial services will be held at a later date.

Alice was born July 5, 1952 in Wauseon, Ohio to the late James and Wanda Kizzee Gillen. She and Elvin Parkhill were companions for thirtythree years and were married April 9, 2011. Alice moved to Olney in 2002 from Canadian, Texas. She was a homemaker, and a member of the First Christian Church. She is preceded in death by one brother James Henry Gillen.

Survivors include her husband Elvin Parkhill of Olney, Texas two sons Michael Gillen of Lubbock, Texas, and Shawn McDaniel of Imperial, Nebraska two daughters Sandra McElroy of St. Louis, Missouri, and Victoria Melendez of Houston, Texas three brothers Tim Gillen, Kenny Gillen, and Ronald Gillen and three sisters Diana Gillen of Anaheim, California, Rebecca Gillen, and Rosie Gillen.
