Alice D. West, age 99, died Friday, July 4, 2014 in Burkburnett, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday July 7, 2014, in the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home in Olney, Texas, with Bobby Scott pastor of the Lighthouse Church of Burkburnett, officiating. Burial will follow at Restland Cemetery in Olney. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Alice was born on February 11, 1915 in Aubrey, Texas to the late J.R. and Amy (Smith) Brumley. She married Oscar "Buss" West April 7, 1929. He preceded her in death on March 7, 1991. She was a homemaker and a member of the Olney Assembly of God where she was a Sunday School teacher and coordinator of the Childrens Church. Alice moved to Burkburnett, Texas in 2011 from Olney. She is preceded in death by her parents; one son, Leon West; three sisters: May Brumley, Minnie Brumley, and Gertrude Brumley; and six brothers: Pat Brumley, Frank Brumley, Bill Brumley, "Red" Brumley, Dick Brumley, and Jack Brumley.

She is survived by her daughter Betty Patrick of Burkburnett, Texas; two sons: Charles West and wife Peggy of Loving, Texas, and Danny West and wife Joyce of Jean, Texas; ten grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
