Angie (Hudson) Beesley

Angie Beesley, age 65, of Goose Creek, South Carolina, passed away on June 27, 2024, at Riverside - Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Family visitation will be held Friday, July 5, 2024, from 6:00 to 7:00 pm in the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, July 6, 2024, in the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home with Josh Hagle, pastor of Southside Baptist Church, officiating.  Interment will follow at Restland Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Angie was born on September 15, 1958, in Olney, Texas, to Johnnie Faye (Whitsitt) Hudson and the late Jerry Don Hudson. Angie graduated from Olney High School in 1977 and furthered her education, obtaining an associate degree in Travel and Tourism from Draughn Business School. She worked as a Teacher's Aide for many years; she was also a certified nail technician. Angie married Ronnie Beesley on October 9, 2007, in Cartesville, Georgia.  Angie enjoyed taking care of and loving her pugs. She enjoyed going to NASCAR and got her husband Ron hooked on going with her. Angie loved working and showing horses. And when she attended horse races, she made sure to wear her derby hat.

Angie is preceded in death by her father, Jerry Don Hudson and her uncle Lt. Col. Elwyn DeWayne Whitsitt.

She is survived by her mother; Johnnie Faye Hudson, of Olney, Texas; her husband Ron Beesley, of Goose Creek, South Carolina; her son and daughter-in-law Jeffrey and Amber Tatum, of Leander, Texas; her brother and sister-in-law Jimmy and Laurie Hudson, of Olney, Texas; her sister Dacia Hudson, of Archer City, Texas; three grandchildren: Britini Tatum, Justin Tatum, and Presleigh Tatum; one uncle Terry Joe Whitsitt of Wichita Falls, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
