Anita Swaim Clayton, age 81, died Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at Olney Healthcare Center in Olney. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 19, 2014, in the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home with Andy Graham, pastor of Southside Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Restland Cemetery under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney, Texas.

Anita was born on September 1, 1932 in Sunset, Texas to the late James and Eunice (Hinton) Swaim. She moved to Olney in 1952 from Sunset. She married Junior Lee Clayton on May 27, 1950 in Alvord, Texas. He preceded her in death on October 19, 1990. Anita had worked for Joy's Flower Shop in Olney and in the Olney Elementary School Cafeteria. Anita loved to cook for her family and always enjoyed the special family times together. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Junior; two sons: Bobby Clayton and Gary Clayton; and one great-granddaughter, Lindsay Lee Ann Sefcik.

Anita is survived by her son, Johnny Clayton and wife Angela of Olney; her daughter, Joyce Corwin of Olney; three brothers: Nelson Swaim and wife Velda of Chico, Texas, Roger Swaim and wife Glenda of Bowie, Texas and Carroll Swaim and wife Janice of Bowie, Texas; daughter-in-law, Earl Dene Clayton of Bryson, Texas; twelve grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

Family visitation will be on Friday, April 18, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
