Anna Marnell Edwards Marrone, age 73, died Thursday, June 11, 2015 at Hamilton Hospital in Olney, Texas. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at Restland Cemetery in Olney, Texas with Harrell Braddock, Jr. minister of First United Methodist Church, officiating, assisted by Scotte Clark, minister of the Hamilton Street Church of Christ. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.
Marnell was born on November 11, 1941 in Olney, Texas to the late Wilse E. and Ruth Elizabeth (Youngblood) Edwards. She married Anthony Thomas Marrone on August 5, 1961 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was a bookkeeper for American Hospital Supply for fifteen years. Marnell moved to Olney in 1995 from Murriga, California. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the Hamilton Hospital Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and one son, Michael Thomas Marrone.
Marnell is survived by two sons: John Anthony Marrone of California and Vance Joseph Marrone of Olney; one daughter, Morgan Lea Dabney of Nevada; and one sister, Ann Gamueda and husband John of Colorado.
