Annie Laurie Hardin passed away on Saturday, April 15, 2023 in Amherst, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 19, 2023, in the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home in Olney with Dr. Chad Edgington officiating. Burial will follow at Restland Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Annie was born on March 15, 1932 in Wellman, Texas to Alfred M. and Jewell (Woodard) Allen. She married A.R. (PeeWee) Hardin on April 8, 1950 in Denver City, Texas. He preceded her in death on December 10, 2000. Annie was a school bus driver for several years. She loved to cook, bake, and sew. Raising her family and serving their needs was her greatest joy.

She was also preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Marion Allen.

Survivors include; one son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and his wife Jackie Hardin of Sudan, Texas; one daughter and son-in-law, Judy (Hardin) Rowan and her husband Wayne of Mustang, Oklahoma; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Anita Luther and her husband Chris of Brownfield, Texas, and Beverly Lowrey, of Plains, Texas; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
