Annie Faye Stewart, age 88, passed away Wednesday, July 9, 2024, at Hospice of Wichita Falls. The funeral service will be held Sunday, July 14, 2024, at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney, with Scotte Clark officiating. Burial will follow at Restland Cemetery, under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home.

Annie Faye was born on November 27, 1935, in Baylor County, Texas, to the late Major Goree and Leona (Parker) Blankenship. Annie Faye married Harold Wayne Stewart on December 23, 1952, in Wichita Falls, Texas. They moved to Olney in 1957 from Seymour, Texas. She was very devout and faithful to her church. Annie Faye taught Bible Class and Vacation Bible School for many years at Hamilton Street Church of Christ. She was a Vice President of 1st National Bank in Olney before owning a family business, Stewart's Food Store, which will celebrate its 50 ^th year in business in 2025. Annie Faye always cared about others and was eager to help anyone in need. She will always be remembered as being gentle, kind, and full of love.

Annie Faye was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Harold Stewart, two sisters, Thelma Bailey and Linda Blankenship, and three brothers, Van Earl Blankenship, Muriel Blankenship, and Major Goree Blankenship, Jr.

She is survived by her two sons and one daughter-in-law, Robert Wayne and Julie Stewart and Daniel Alan Stewart, both of Olney, Texas; her brother and sister-in-law, Thelbert and Peggy Blankenship, of Wichita Falls, Texas; two grandchildren: Shannon Elizabeth (Stewart) and Jason Pack of Olney, Texas and Robert William (Will) and Hannah Stewart of Olney, Texas, and three great-grandchildren; Ava Marie Stewart, Audrey Caroline Stewart, and Mae Ellen Stewart, of Olney, Texas.
