Arlie 'Ed' Dunn, or "Fathead" to those  who knew and loved him, age 94, passed peacefully with family at his side on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at Hamilton Hospital in Olney, Texas. Ed will be cremated and family will hold a small graveside service at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Ed was born April 11, 1930 to Arlie George Dunn and Addie L Jackson in Fort Worth, Texas. Throughout the years, Ed worked as a mason, builder, and fisherman. He was a "big man with a big personality" as his great grandson would say. Ed was passionate about travel and adventure, even rode his motorcycle until he was 80 years young. He always loved his family visits where he would sing and tell them stories of his younger years. His infectious smile shined brightest when he was being ornery, though.

Ed is preceded in death by his parents Arlie G. Dunn and Addie L Jackson, brother George Dunn and sister Virgie Holleman, the love of his life, Teresa Dunn and his son Brian Dunn.

Ed leaves behind six children, daughters Shanna Estridge, Nancy Roberts, Juanita Tarazon, Jerrie Tinny, and sons George and Ed Dunn and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
