Avery Brooke Green, age 14, passed away on Friday, June 21, 2024, at Hamilton Hospital in Olney, Texas.  Funeral services will be on Thursday, June 27, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Horizon Country Church in Olney with Kellen Capps, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow at Restland Cemetery, in Olney, Texas. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Avery was born on July 23, 2009, in Graham, Texas. She loved dinosaurs, playing video games with her friends, building Lego's, and learning to skateboard. Avery gave the best hugs and was a professional backyard chicken wrangler. She had a heart made of gold and was always willing to stand up for others without hesitation. She was fierce, beautiful and kind. To say she will be missed is an understatement of epic proportions.

We can always remember Avery for her laugh, her ability to befriend the new kid, and for being the best big sister.

Avery is survived by her mother and father: Breanna Curnutte and Ian Bailey, of Olney, Texas; four sisters: Rilynn Bailey, Willow Bailey, Carter Bailey, and Kristen Fields of Olney, Texas; her maternal grandparents: Nathan and Tera Green and Wayne Curnutte, of Olney, Texas; her paternal grandparents: Jim Bob and Shelia Bailey of Graham, Texas; her uncles: Michael Green, Ezra Bailey, and Zakk Bailey of Olney, Texas, Eddie Lee, of Electra, Texas, Brent Casteel of Newcastle, Texas, and Tyler Curnutte of Jacksboro, Texas;  and numerous aunts and several cousins.
