Barbara Ann Cheatwood Cannon, age 68, died Wednesday, June 1, 2016 in Ft. Worth. A private family burial will be held on Monday, June 6, 2016 at 2:00 pm at the Newcastle Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Barbara was born October 12, 1947 in Graham, Texas. After high school graduation, she worked as a billing clerk. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Barbara was preceded in death by her mother, Violet Lee (Runyon) Lea on March 13, 2015, and her brother, Lloyd Wayne Cheatwood on December 27, 1992.

She is survived by her son, Michael Edward Cannon of Weatherford, Texas; her father, Alfred Lea of Springtown, Texas; her sister, Carolyn Nichols and husband Cliff of Azle, Texas; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
