Barbara Garza, age 51, passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2017 in Wichita Falls, Texas. Rosary will be at 7:00 p.m. Friday, April 28, 2017, in the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 29, 2017 in the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home with Father Eugene Nyong, officiating. Interment will be in Restland Cemetery under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home.

Barbara was born November 1, 1965 in Lovington, New Mexico to Vicente and Isabel (Valdez) Garza. After high school, she graduated from Beauty School with a degree in Cosmetology and loved styling hair. She liked to play softball and liked to go dancing. She liked to post pictures and keep in touch with friends and family on Facebook. Barbara loved her grandkids and family deeply and enjoyed their time together. She was preceded in death by her father, Vicente Garza in 2009.

Barbara is survived by her mother, Isabel Valdez of Olney; her son, Shawn Garza of Olney; her daughter, Ashley Nicole Garza of Olney; one brother, Vincent Garza of Wichita Falls; four sisters, Cynthia Hinojosa of Olney, Irene Green of Graham, Lisa Garza of Olney and Michelle Garza of Graham; four grandchildren, Kadence Garza, Daven Garza, Malix Garza and Nevaeh Garza; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
