Barbara Kee, age 74 of Henderson, Nevada, died Monday, August 23, 2021, at Nathan Adelson Hospice in Las Vegas, Nevada. Visitation will be from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Friday, September 10, 2021, at Lunn Funeral Home in Olney, Texas. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 11, 2021, at the Megargel Cemetery in Megargel, Texas, with Rev. David Kee, officiating. Services are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney, Texas.

Barbara was born on September 15, 1946 in Niagara Falls, New York to the late Herbert and Christine (Wilaby) Simmons. She loved hummingbirds, knitting and traveling. Every year for her birthday she would plan to do something that she had never done before.

Barbara is survived by her two sons, Jerry Pugh and wife Roxie of Falfurrias, Texas and Jimmy Kee and wife Glenda of Henderson, Nevada; five grandchildren, Charlie, Ramie and Railene (Punky) all of Falfurrias, Texas, and Samantha (Sam) and Emily both of Henderson, Nevada; one brother, Herb Simmons of Evanston, Wyoming; and several nieces and nephews.
