Barbara E. Lewis Widner, age 54, died Thursday, May 23, 2013, in Olney, Texas. A private family burial will follow at a later date in Oakwood Cemetery in Jacksboro, Texas. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Barbara was born on December 10, 1958 in Abilene, Texas to Lester Bruce and Ophelia Ann (Kingery) Lewis. She had worked as a maid for various hotels. She was preceded in death by her father; her daughter, Tiffany Widner; her brother, Stanley Lewis; her step-father, Dan Stout; and her nephew, Craig Creswell.

Survivors include her mother, Ophelia Lewis Stout of Olney, Texas; one daughter, Candace Lewis of Seymour, Texas; two sisters, Dixie Creswell of Olney, Texas and Judy Hanes of Seymour, Texas; two brothers, William Lewis of Jacksboro, Texas and Charles Stout of Houston, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
