Beatrice M. Oualline, former resident of Olney, passed away on Thursday, April 18, 2013 in Plano, Texas at the age of 96. Graveside services will be held on Monday, April 22, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. in Restland Cemetery of Olney, Texas with Matt Oualline of Emory, Texas officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Beatrice was born on January 17, 1917 east of Sunset in Montague County, Texas to the late Thomas Abe and Geneva Mae (Brown) McDonald. She was valedictorian of her class in 1934 at Burkburnett High School. After graduation she worked for ten years in Wichita Falls, Texas for Owens and Brumley Funeral Home, Owens and Brumley Insurance, and Owens and Brumley Furniture Store as Mr. Brumley's private secretary. She then married M.W. "Dutch" Oualline, Sr. on March 5, 1944 in Olney, Texas. He preceded her in death January 16, 1965. Beatrice was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother, W.L. McDonald, and one sister, Bernice Boustani.

She is survived by her children: Elaine Cordner and husband Tom of Plano, Texas, Eileen Horany and husband Ernest of Plano, Texas, Matt Oualline, Jr. and wife Laura of Emory, Texas, and, Stephen Oualline and wife Elizabeth of Odessa, Texas; one brother Dr. D.D. McDonald of Longview, Texas. She was blessed with twelve grandchildren and twenty-eight great-grandchildren who knew her as "Grammie" and "Great Grammie", respectively. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
