Ben Kee, age 79, passed away on Friday, August 20, 2021, in Graham, Texas. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 4, 2021, at the Olney Civic Center. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Ben was born on March 1, 1942, in Padgett, Texas to the late Joseph Benjamin and Mary Ellen (Easley) Kee. He married Carolyn McKinney on November 17, 1962 in Olney, Texas. He was a lifetime resident of Young County and was a farmer and rancher for most of his life. Ben loved to collect antique farm equipment. He enjoyed farming and ranching and working with his cows. He liked to go to farm auctions and visit with all the people attending. He made crafts out of old wood and enjoyed doing things outside. Ben was a member of the Assembly of God Church.

Ben was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Jeffery D. Kee in 1984; six brothers, Willie Kee, Richard Kee, Tommy Kee, Teddy Kee, Freddie Kee, and Gerald Kee.

Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Kee of Olney; one son, Jerry Kee of Olney; one sister and brother-in-law, Sandra and Douglas Halverson of Olney; four grandchildren, Kalysta Mosley of Graham, Kaleb Kee of Graham, Joseph Kee of Olney, and Jeffrey Kee of Bryson; one great grandchild, Kennedi Mosley of Graham; two brothers-in law and one sister-in-law, Mike and Mahana McKinney of Olney and Robert McKinney of Wichita Falls. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
