Bert Eversole, Sr., age 76, died Sunday, July 17, 2011, at Graham Oaks Nursing Home in Graham, Texas. Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 21, 2011, at Newcastle Cemetery in Newcastle, Texas with Pastor Joe Finfrock of the Oak Street Baptist Church in Graham officiating. Arrangements are under the ion of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.
Bert was born March 2, 1935 in Martree, Arkansas to the late Elige and Blutha Anglin Eversole. He and Juanita Hively were married on June 10, 1957 in Wickenburg, Arizona. They moved to Olney in 1985. Bert had worked in the auto mechanics, construction, and oilfield industries. He was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita on December 5, 2010 and his son, Johnny Eversole on December 8, 2010.
Survivors include three sons: Bert Eric Eversole of Olney, Texas, Daniel Thomas Eversole of Newcastle, Texas, and Joseph Paul Eversole of Olney, Texas five daughters: Juanita Lois Bolles of Kingman, Arizona, Mary Riggins of Newcastle, Texas, Kathleen Fergeson of Graham, Texas, Donnia Frye of Olney, Texas, and Bonnie Jean Eversole of Olney, Texas twentysix grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren
