Obituary

Betty Schoeling, age 66, died on July 15, 2013. Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. with Scotte Clark, of Olney, officiating. Interment will follow at Restland Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Betty was born in Seymour, Texas on October 15, 1946 to the late H.A. and Johnny (Riggins) Hale. She and David Schoeling were married on October 1, 1971 in Jean, Texas. Betty was a nurse and had lived in Olney since 1971. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents and one sister.

Betty is survived by her husband, David Schoeling of Olney, Texas; one son, Charles Snyder of Olney, Texas; two daughters: Kelley Hughes and husband Joe of Olney, Texas and Megan Schoeling of Olney, Texas; one brother, Dan Hale and wife Mary of Bonham, Texas; three grandchildren: Haylie Pittman and husband Callen of Olney, Texas, Abby Hughes of Olney, Texas and Devin Withrow of Ocala, Florida; and three great-grandchildren: Paxton, Elijah and Jacob.

Family visitation will be Tuesday, July 16, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home.

Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society, 3402 N. First St., Suite 102, Abilene, Texas 79603 or to the American Kidney Fund, 11921 Rockville Pike, Ste. 300, Rockville, MD 20852.
