Beulah Callahan, age 82 died Monday, November 19, 2012, in Olney, Texas. Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 21, 2012, at the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home with Carter Pirtle officiating. Burial will be at Megargel Cemetery. Arrangements are under the ion of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Beulah Fae was born on November 28, 1929 to the late Coy and Elna Opal Welch Sherrill in Throckmorton County, Texas. She and Carl Callahan were married in Seymour, Texas on October 18, 1947. He preceded her in death on March 14, 2012. She was a homemaker. Beulah was a great cook, and she had been an avid quilter for fifty years. She was a Baptist. Beulah was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son, Carl Wayne Callahan on December 23, 1975, a brother, Johnny Coy Sherrill, and two sisters: Charlotte Rowe, and Veta Wells.

Survivors include her son, Randall Callahan and wife Candace of Katy, Texas two brothers: James T. Sherrill and wife Lucille of Sweetwater, Texas, and Billy Sherrill and wife Sharon of Olney, Texas her sister, Betty Jo Hardin of Newcastle, Texas three grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
