Billy Alexander, age 78, died Thursday, June 21, 2012 in Olney, Texas. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 25, 2012 at Restland Cemetery, with Andy Graham of Southside Baptist Church officiating. Arrangements are under the ion of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Billy was born on January 3, 1934 to the late Calvin Dauarty and Narnie Lou Freeman Alexander in Young County, Texas. He had worked in the oilfield. Billy was a Baptist and served his country in the United States Air Force. He was preceded in death by his parents and several brothers and sisters.

Survivors include his son, Michael Lee Alexander and wife Brenda of Holliday, Texas daughters: Gloria Alexander and companion Bryan Mayo of Rising Star, Texas, Billie Jean Bell and husband Bill of Kermit, Texas, Donna Conder and husband Rodney of Olney, Texas, and Regina Alexander of Pampa, Texas a sister, Drucella Boone of Archer City, Texas also fifteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
