Billy Wayne Martinez, age 52 died January 3, 2012 in Wichita Falls, Texas. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 6, 2012, in the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home with Stephen Winner from the Olney Assembly of God Church of Olney, Texas officiating. Burial will be at Restland Cemetery in Olney under the ion of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Billy was born on August 7, 1959 in El Paso, Texas to Lupe Martinez and Lois Miller Farquer. He grew up in Perryton, Texas and went to school there before moving to Olney. He had worked in the oilfield industry. Billy proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Olney.

He is survived by his mother, Lois Farquer of Olney, Texas his father, Lupe Martinez of Perryton, Texas daughter Caroline Martinez of Olney, Texas brothers: Junior Martinez of Olney, Texas, Johnny Martinez and wife Penny of Weatherford, Oklahoma, and Kenneth Farquer of Mineral Wells, Texas grandchildren: Jaden Martinez, Mason Carter, and Blake Martinez nieces: Cristen Martinez, Brittni Willingham, and Brooklyn Martinez nephews: Zak Farquer, Justin Martinez, and Gabriel Farquer.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 5, 2012 from 56 pm at the funeral home.
