Billy Ray Reynolds, age 93, of Newcastle, Texas, passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2022. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 19, 2022, at Newcastle Cemetery in Newcastle, Texas with Paul Cheatham, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Billy was born on July 5, 1928 in Littlefield, Texas to the late Louis Richardson and Myrtle (Ingle) Richardson. They moved to Newcastle and that's where she met and married the love of her life, Spain Reynolds. Billy and Spain made their home in Newcastle and they lived there for 63 years. She was a wonderful helpmate to Spain and helped with their custom combining business. Billy had worked for Hagar Slacks in Olney for several years and then worked for Olney Healthcare for several years. After retiring from Olney Healthcare, she helped on the family farm and helped take care of her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Spain, her son Emmit Reynolds, her brother Ike Richardson, and her sister, Lucille Lindley.

Survivors include her daughter, Janis Comell Dodson; three grandchildren: Michael Dodson, Brayden Reynolds and Amber Paulson; four great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

The family wants to thank Beyond Faith Hospice and Elison Living Center for all of their loving care.
