Billy Don Story, Sr, 62, passed away Friday, January 5, 2018 in Olney, TX. Billy was born on August 23, 1955 in Haskell, TX to Donald and Sue Melton Story. He married Patricia Jones on March 28, 1975 in Wichita Falls, TX. Billy retired from Air Tractor August 2017 after 30 years of employment.

Billy was preceded in death by his mother Sue Story and a brother Bobby James Story.

Survivors include his wife Patricia Story of Olney, TX, daughter; TraChelle Rodgers and son-in-law, Bob of China Spring, TX; son Billy Story, Jr., and daughter-in-law, Julia of Waco, TX; father, Donald Story of Newcastle, TX; two sisters, Donna Watson of Newcastle, TX and Debbie Wilkinson and a brother-in-law Brad of Newcastle, TX; seven grandchildren, Heather, Morgan, Courtney, Freddie, Meagan, Patrick and Phillip; and several nieces and nephews.

Billy was a member of the National Rifle Association, Bass Federation, and American Quarter Horse Association.

Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 7, 2018 at Lunn Funeral Home in Olney.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 8, 2018 in the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home, with Jessie Edwards, pastor of First Baptist Church in Newcastle, officiating, assisted by Terry Sanders. Burial will follow at Restland Cemetery in Olney.
