Bobby "Old Hippie" Dodd, age 64, died Saturday, May 28, 2022, at his home in Olney. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 7, 2022, in the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home with Josh Hagle, officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Bobby was born on June 26, 1957 in Olney, Texas to the late Wendell E. "Tiny" Dodd and Ina Marie "Babe" (Wilborn) Dodd. He was a lifetime resident of Olney. He married Nancie Brewer on July 31, 1993, in Graham. Bobby became the owner/operator of his own truck in 1999 and retired from trucking in 2017. He enjoyed reminiscing about all of the old cars he had owned and he really enjoyed cooking. He was creative in his own way and always found a way to make things happen. Bobby loved his family very much and he was the best husband, dad and granddad.

Bobby is survived by his wife, Nancie Dodd of Olney; one daughter and son-in-law, Jessica "Michelle" McComack and husband Chris of Olney; one son and daughter-in-law, Josh Brewer and wife Robin of Olney; eight grandchildren: Bryce, Camron, Ty, Jaydah, Emma, Finn, Sutton Jo and Ollie; one sister, Paula Lowhorn of Ellijay, Georgia; one nephew, Randy Boone and Gina of Ellijay, Georgia; and his mother and father-in-law, Carolyn and Vernon Tiger of Melbourne, Florida.
