Brenda Joyce Hromas Gammon was born on June 6, 1952, in Levelland, Texas. She died peacefully at Hamilton Hospital on February 25, 2023, surrounded by her family. She is survived by her husband of 38 years, David of Olney, Texas; sisters, Barbara Hromas Guidry and husband Rick of Toledo Bend, Louisiana; Anita Hromas Ragland and Michael of San Antonio, Texas; Becky Hromas Burt and Mike of Olney, Texas; nephew Patrick Guidry and Shannon of Leesville, Louisiana; niece Carrie Ragland Simonds and Matt of San Antonio. She is also survived by many other nieces and nephews and more friends than could be named.

Brenda was preceded in death by daughter Heather; her parents Eugene and Loraine Hromas; and nephews Philip Guidry and Christopher Bowden.

Brenda is known for her great generosity and tremendous love of family and friends. She was a great friend to the needy, excellent baker, gift giver extraordinaire, and lover of gardening. Brenda would shoot from the hip with no holds barred. She was one of the pickiest eaters you ever met, but she sure could bake! She took great pride in her care of Restland Cemetery in Olney.

Inurnment will be at a later date at Restland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity, plant a flower in your garden or do something kind for another.
