Carl Callahan, age 91, of Olney, Texas, died Wednesday, March 14, 2012, in Olney, Texas. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 17, 2012, in the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home with Harvey McQueen, officiating. Interment will follow in the Megargel Cemetery under the ion of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Mr. Callahan was born December 12, 1920 in Jack County, Texas to Joseph and Lois Rummage Callahan. He and Beulah Faye Sherrill were married October 18, 1947 in Seymour, Texas. They moved to Olney from Megargel in 1956. Mr. Callahan was a lifetime farmer. He was a Baptist. Mr.Callahan served in the United States Army during World War II as a Combat Engineer. He was preceded in death by his parents and son Carl Wayne Callahan on December 23, 1975.

Mr. Callahan is survived by his wife Beulah Callahan of Olney, Texas son Randall Richard Callahan of Katy, Texas.
