Carlos Ray Brewer, age 66, passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at his home in Wichita Falls, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 18, 2024, in the chapel of Lunn Funeral Home in Olney, Texas, with Pastor Douglas Kabell, officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. prior to the service. Interment will follow at Restland Cemetery in Olney. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Carlos was born on April 12, 1957 in Olney, Texas to Harold Leon Brewer and Velera Del (Hubbard) Brewer. He married Delia Garza on November 10, 1979 in Olney. She preceded him in death on November 20, 2010. He was also preceded in death by his father.

Carlos enjoyed going fishing and loved being outdoors. He also loved dancing and watching sports, and was a true craftsman cooking on the grill. He was always a hard worker and loved being in the oilfield. Above all, Carlos was a family man, always putting his family first.

Carlos is survived by his mother, Velera Shipley of Wichita Falls; his daughter and son-in-law, Angela and Chris Tyler of Holliday; his sister, Lori Dean of Wichita Falls; his brother, Greg Brewer of Richardson; three grandchildren: Carson McAnally of Holliday, Caleb Tyler of Wichita Falls and Courtney Tyler of Holliday; three sisters-in-law: Dalia Willingham, Lydia Greenway and Irma Garza all of Olney. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews as well as great-nieces and great- nephews.
