Carolyn "Sissy" Manninger, age 65, passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at Hospice of Wichita Falls. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, October 9, 2024, in the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home with Dr. Chad Edgington, Pastor of First Baptist Church in Olney officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Sissy was born on March 27, 1959, in Palestine, Texas. She married Robert Manninger on April 2, 1977, in Grapeland, Texas, before moving from Crockett, Texas, to Olney, Texas. Sissy enjoyed loving on and spending time with her grandchildren. She always worked very hard, whether she was at work or home. Sissy was previously employed with Herb Easley of Wichita Falls and had worked for several years as a secretary. When Sissy loved you, she loved BIG and with her whole heart.

Sissy is survived by her husband: Robert Manninger of Olney, Texas; two sons and daughters-in-law: Nathan and Jaime Manninger of Olney, Texas, and Josh and Sara Manninger of Argyle, Texas, four grandchildren: Hayden Manninger, Skylar Manninger, Canton Manninger, and Chase Manninger, her brother and sister-in-law: Tommy and Pam Allen of Lufkin, Texas: and her sister-in-law, Pam Ferguson of Bluffdale, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her father, James Allen, her mother, Martha (Jenkins) Ivy, her step-father, C.V. Ivy, two brothers, James Wayne Allen and John Kenneth Allen, and her father and mother-in-law, John and Hope Manninger.
