Carolyn Kee, age 81, passed away Thursday, January 9, 2025, at United Regional in Wichita Falls, Texas. Memorial services will be announced at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Carolyn was born on February 11, 1943, in Seattle, Washington, to the late Robert and Thelma Francilene (Johnson) McKinney. She married Ben Kee on November 17, 1962, in Olney, Texas, and spent nearly sixty years together before he preceded her in death in 2021. Carolyn spent numerous years working as a caregiver for the elderly. She spent her lifetime in Olney and was a member of the Assembly of God Church. Carolyn was steadfast in her Christian beliefs, and could often be found reading her bible or listening to bible verses. She loved her grandchildren and loved spending time with them. Carolyn also enjoyed cooking and being in the kitchen.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Ben Kee, her son, Jeffrey Kee, and her two sisters, Gail Swaim and Judy Watson.

Carolyn is survived by her son Jerry Kee of Olney, Texas, two brothers and one sister-in-law; Mike and Mahana McKinney of Olney, Texas and Robert Davis McKinney, Jr. of Wichita Falls, Texas, her four grandchildren: Kaleb Kee of Olney, Texas, Jeffery Kee of Bryson, Texas, Joe Kee of Bryson, Texas, and Kalista Mosley of Graham, Texas, her two great-grandchildren Kennedi Mosley and Mia Jane Mosely, her aunt and uncle Gweneth and Larry Milhollan of Graham, Texas, and numerous nieces and nephews.
