Carri Machille Ickert, age 40, passed away Monday, October 5, 2015 in Dallas, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Thursday, October 8, 2015 at First Baptist Church in Olney with Scotte Clark, minister of Hamilton Street Church of Christ officiating, assisted by David Carpenter. Interment will follow in Restland Cemetery under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Carri was born on September 3, 1975 in Eureka, California to Larry Leon Baxter and Linda Carol (Watson) Baxter. She graduated from Pleasant Valley High School in Chico, California and moved to Olney in 2003. She married Mathew Ickert on April 12, 2008 in Olney, Texas. Carri worked at the Lovett-Meredith Clinic in Olney for ten years and was a note teller at Olney Interbank. She was a member of the Hamilton Street Church of Christ in Olney and the Olney Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.

Carri was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Horace Baxter; her grandfather-in-law, A. F. Ickert; and her grandparents-in-law, James and Geneva Carr.

Carri is survived by her husband, Mathew Ickert of Olney; two sons, August Ickert and Samuel Ickert of Olney; her parents, Larry and Linda Baxter of Olney; two brothers, Jon Baxter and wife Kim of Graham and Jeff Baxter and wife Kathy of Wichita Falls; father and mother-in-law, Donald and Lana Ickert of Olney; brother-in-law, Jason Ickert and wife Amy of Corinth, Texas; sister-in-law, Misti Ondricek and husband Kirk of Olney; maternal grandparents, Marilyn and Oliver Watson of Olney; paternal grandmother, Sue Baxter of St. George, Utah; grandmother-in-law, Wanda Ickert of Olney; and several nieces and nephews whom she loved and adored as her own.

Visitation will be Wednesday, October 7, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Lunn Funeral Home in Olney.
