Cecilia Lynch, age 69 of Archer City, died Monday, October 25, 2021, in Wichita Falls. Family visitation will be on Friday, October 29, 2021, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Lunn Funeral Home in Olney. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 30, 2021, in the chapel of Lunn Funeral Home with her son, Tony Richardson, officiating. Interment will follow at the Megargel Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Cecilia was born on February 28, 1952, in Durango, Colorado to the late James Price Lynch and Dorothy Jean (Brewer) Lynch. She was a LVN/MRT at Seymour Hospital and had been a school nurse as well. She was known as the "town nurse" in Megargel. Cecilia was a very compassionate caregiver and was always "Mom" to everybody. She was always called "Sister" by her siblings. She enjoyed playing dominoes and cards with her family and friends, and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Cecilia was strong in her faith and loved her Sunday School Class, the Ladies Bible Study. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Wichita Falls.

Cecilia is survived by her step-father, Bruce Cox of Paducah; step-mother, Terry Lynch of Bowie; daughter and son-in-law, Leia Johnson & husband Dennis of Three Rivers; two sons and daughters-in-law, Tony Richardson and wife Regina of Wichita Falls and Charley Richardson and wife Michelle of Archer City; three brothers, James P. Lynch of Wichita Falls, Timothy Lynch of Bowie and William Lynch of Sunset; three sisters, Jamie Prunty of Iowa Park, Delores Bragg of Wichita Falls and Beverly Stephens of Wichita Falls; ten grandchildren, Joshua, Hunter, Katie, Anna, Guy, Emily, Cole, Phillip, Maylee and Reni; one great-grandchild, Cobun; and several nieces and nephews.
