Celia C. Aleman, age 82, passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at Graham Oaks Care Center in Graham, Texas. A rosary will be held on Sunday, May 11, 2025, at 7:00 pm in the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney, with Matt Symank, reading. Funeral service will be held on Monday, May 12, 2025, at 11:00 am, at the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home, with Father Eugene Nyoung officiating. Burial will follow at Restland Cemetery in Olney, Texas. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Celia was born on September 16, 1942, in Kingsville, Texas, to the late Alberto and Eulalia (Martinez) Cortez. She married Wenceslado Aleman on December 12, 1959, in Falfurrias, Texas. They were married for forty-four years before he preceded her in death in December of 2003. Celia was employed with Hamilton Hospital and Haggar's Slacks for seventeen years. She also worked with Electric Hose and Rubber and was a member of the Spanish Choir. After Celia retired from Electric Hose and Rubber, she was a self-employed housekeeper. She loved cooking and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She liked to sew as a hobby. Celia was well known as "The Bookie" and loved playing cards and going to the casino.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her two sisters, America Hart and Micaela King.

Celia is survived by her son Rolando Robledo and wife Belinda of Falfurrias, Texas, three daughters and two sons-in law, Emma Cordero of San Antonio, Texas, Elma Giles and husband Tom of Lawton, Oklahoma, and Maria Muirhead and husband Bryan of Burkburnett, Texas, her brother Armando Martinez of Sanford, North Carolina, her granddaughter that she raised like a daughter, Erica Englishbee and husband Jake, her fifteen additional grandchildren, twenty five great-grandchildren, eleven great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
