Charlene Francis Dillard, age 88, died Tuesday, December 24, 2013 at Grace Care Center of Olney, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 27, 2013 in the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home in Olney, Texas with Stephen Winner, pastor of the Olney Assembly of God, officiating. Interment will be at Newcastle Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Charlene was born July 22, 1925 in Vernon, Texas, to the late Charlie and Ellie (Bloom) Jordan. She married Robert Dillard on October 27, 1971 in Wichita Falls, Texas. The couple moved to Olney in 2003 from Florida. She was a beautician, and a member of the Assembly of God Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, and one daughter: Janice Elaine Murphy.

Charlene is survived by her husband Robert Dillard of Olney, Texas; one son: Jerry Ming and wife Juda, also of Olney; one daughter: Kathy Johns and husband Pete of Waveland, Mississippi; and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Family will receive visitors before services on Friday, December 27, 2013 in the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home.
