Charles D. Stewart, age 65, died Saturday, December 27, 2014, in Olney, Texas. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 in the chapel of Lunn Funeral Home in Olney, Texas with Scotte Clark, of Olney, officiating, assisted by Chaplain Kevin Sullivan of the Olney Volunteer Fire Department. Interment will follow at Restland Cemetery in Olney, Texas. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Charles was born on May 1, 1949 in Graham, Texas to the late Charley B. and Juanita I. (Pinkerton) Stewart. He moved to Olney in 1954 from Jean, Texas and was a lifelong resident of Olney. Charles served his country proudly in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Olney Volunteer Fire Department and had worked for the City of Olney. Charles married Wanda Fay Wright on May 28, 2005 in Olney.

Charles is survived by his wife, Wanda F. Stewart of Olney; one step-son, Sam Owens and wife Sandra of Laughlin, Nevada; one step-daughter, Samantha Nava and husband Brian of Pismo Beach, California; four grandchildren: Christopher Owens, Abigail Owens, Dylan DeAnda and Christian DeAnda.
