Charlie Perry, age 82, died Friday, January 6, 2012. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 8, 2012, in the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home in Olney with Scotte Clark, minister of the Hamilton Street Church of Christ, officiating assisted by Gene Long of Haskell, Texas. Burial will be in Restland Cemetery in Olney, Texas. Arrangements are under the ion of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.
Charlie was born July 25, 1929 to the late Looney Franklin and Alice Sims Perry in Throckmorton, Texas. He and June Partain were married September 8, 1950 in Olney, Texas. They moved to Olney in 1993 from Abilene, Texas. Mr. Perry was selfemployed. He was a member of the Hamilton Street Church of Christ in Olney. Charlie served in the Air Force during the Korean War. Mr. Perry is preceded in death by five sisters.
Survivors include his wife June Perry of Olney, Texas three sons, Ken Perry and wife Sharon of Abilene, Texas, Bob Perry and wife Carol of Lubbock, Texas, and Drew Perry and wife Christy of Edmond, Oklahoma one daughter, Denise Williams and husband Glen of Lexington, Oklahoma one brother L.F. Perry and wife Carla of Olney, Texas fifteen grandchildren, and nine greatgrandchildren.
Visitation will be Saturday, January 7, from 5:00 to 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
