Charlotte Gameson, age 87, passed away Monday, October 26, 2015 at Grace Care Center in Olney, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 29, 2015, in the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home in Olney with Chad Edgington, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Restland Cemetery in Olney. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Charlotte was born June 19, 1928 in Edinburgh, Scotland to the late James and Ada (Illingworth) McGill. She and Arthur A. Gameson were married on June 16, 1946 in Olney. Charlotte worked in the medical records department at Hamilton Hospital in Olney for nearly forty years. She was a member of the Texas Medical Records Association, the American Medical Records Association, the local VFW, and the First Baptist Church of Olney. Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Arthur A. Gameson in 1995, a daughter, Catherine Fay Gameson in 1961, and one grandson, John Eric Gameson in 1996.

Charlotte is survived by one daughter, Rosemary Shawver of Graham; two sons: Gary Gameson and wife Sharlett of Denton and Allen Gameson and wife Debbie of Olney; one brother, John McGill of Leicester, England; brother-in-law, Morris Gameson of Graham; eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Lunn Funeral Home in Olney.
