Cheryl spent her life in Throckmorton, Olney, and Graham. She graduated from Throckmorton High School in 1980. Cheryl was a very intelligent person even though she could put on a pretty good country girl act. She would say things for the "shock value." She loved all things outdoors: cooking, fishing, hunting, animals, gardening, and building. She was creative. She attended Tarleton State University pursuing a degree in Industrial Arts. Her creative materials of choice were metal and wood. She loved to joke and tease. She was a caretaker. She loved helping both sets of grandparents on their farms and with the animals. Cheryl was a licensed and very effective massage therapist--another talent displayed through her hands. She was also a poet and a musician. She loved to sing and play the guitar. Given the opportunity, Cheryl witnessed her love of Jesus freely. She loved to quote scripture and sing hymns. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Throckmorton and Graham. Her favorite scripture was 1 John 4: 7-8 and her favorite song was "Because He Lives."
