Christine Darlene Dixon Cagle Wade was born December 28, 1930 in Murray, Texas and passed away on December 13, 2019 in Olney, Texas. She was the daughter of Thomas E. Dixon and Tressie Tomlinson Dixon. She was a 1949 graduate of Olney High School. She married Capt. Evered D. Cagle on August 26, 1950. She gave birth to Rhonda and Donald. Her husband preceded her in death on December 22, 1958. After his death, she married Robert C. Wade. She then gave birth to Randal and Dirk. Christine was an active member of First Baptist Church in Olney where she taught 2nd grade Sunday School for many years. She was a member of the WMU and the Fidelis Sunday School class. She also owned Style Beauty Shop for fifty years and retired at age 80.

Christine is survived by her children, Donald Cagle (Glenna) of Olney, Rhonda Cagle Ramsey (Richard) of Oklaunion, Randal Wade of Olney, daughter-in-law, Sudie Wade of Olney; grandchildren, Russ Ramsey (Casey), Rick Ramsey (Kari Jo), Robert Ramsey (Kadie), Whitney Johns (Jason), Kimberly Wiemers (Scott), Ashley Phillips (Jordan), Gavin Wade, Fallon Bowers (Andy), Keeli Harris; fifteen great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Faye Dixon of Olney, brother-in-law, Jim Wade (Linda) of Olney, and many nieces and nephews who referred to her as "Aunt Chris".

Christine was preceded in death by a son, Tracy Dirk Wade on July 6, 2018, a grandson, Brandon Carter, and five brothers, Wayne Dixon, Wylie Dixon, M.C. Dixon, Earnest Dean Dixon and Samuel Dixon.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm on Sunday, December 15, 2019 in the Parlor of First Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 3:00 pm at First Baptist Church immediately after the visitation with Chad Edgington, pastor, officiating, assisted by Scotte Clark, minister of Hamilton Street Church of Christ. Burial will follow at Restland Cemetery in Olney.
