Chad Cantrell, age 38, died Sunday, July 17, 2011, in Olney, Texas. A private committal service will be at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at the Elbert Cemetery in Elbert, Texas. Memorial services will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 20, 2011, at First United Methodist Church in Olney with Gary Torian officiating assisted by Marty Light of First Baptist Church of Elbert. Arrangements are under the ion of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Chad was born December 14, 1972 in Wichita Falls, Texas. Chad was a lifetime resident of Olney. He graduated from Olney High School in 1991, and attended Texas State Technical College in Sweetwater, Texas. He worked as a rancher and farmer in the area. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Mr. and Mrs. O.P. Hall, and Mr. and Mrs. R. T. Cantrell and an uncle, Wallace Cantrell.

Survivors include his mother, Marilyn Kay Hall Cantrell of Olney, Texas his father, Wilton Ernest Cantrell of Elbert, Texas a sister, Kaylee Cantrell of Wichita Falls, Texas an aunt Jolene Bell and husband John of Archer City, Texas an uncle, R.D. Hickam and wife Leona of Olney, Texas and numerous cousins.

Visitation will be Tuesday, July 19, 2011 from 67 p.m. at the funeral home.
