Clifford Wages, age 85, died Friday, September 13, 2013 in Wichita Falls. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 16, 2013, at Restland Cemetery in Olney, Texas, with Scotte Clark, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Clifford was born on August 9, 1928 in Newcastle, Texas to the late James and Delphia (Russell) Wages. He was a longtime resident of Archer City, Texas and had worked in the oilfield. He and Willive Alexander were married on August 16, 1956. She preceded him in death on April 3, 2008. Clifford was also preceded in death by his parents, several brothers and sisters and a son, Johnny Crawford.

Clifford is survived by his three daughters: Nora Jean Stewart and husband George of Holliday, Texas, Sandra Menting of Fort Worth, Texas, and Wanda Wages of Wichita Falls, Texas; two sons: Donnie Crawford and wife Brenda of Archer City, Texas and Jerry Wages of Wichita Falls, Texas; one sister, Lillian McCoy, as well as thirteen grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.
