Corine Elizabeth McKinney, age 81, died on Wednesday, July 4, 2012 in Waco, Texas. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Monday, July 9, 2012 at Southside Baptist Church in Olney with Andy Graham officiating. Burial will be in Restland Cemetery. Arrangements are under the ion of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Corine Elizabeth was born on January 30, 1931 in Megargel, Texas to the late Thelma Haile and Fred Hilbers. She and Loran Wayne McKinney were married in Megargel on January 1, 1951. Corine had been a Licensed Vocational Nurse for twenty years, and had served at the Glorietta Youth Camp in New Mexico. She was also a missionary volunteer for the Southern Baptist Association of Home Missions. Corine was a member of the Southside Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents also two sisters: Bessie Wilson and Doris Crosthwait.

Corine is survived by her husband, Loran Wayne McKinney of Waco, Texas a son, Mike McKinney and wife Martha of Terrell, Texas two daughters: Connie Miles and husband Gary of Cary, North Carolina, Jody Edds and husband Gary of Waco, Texas a sister, Opal Blair of Wichita Falls, Texas also eight grandchildren, and thirteen great grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Sunday, July 8, 2012 from 46 pm at the funeral home.
