Darlie Posey Guerra, age 83, died November 13, 2017 in Decatur, Texas. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 16, 2017, at the Megargel Cemetery with Reverend Dan Hooper, minister of Christian Fellowship of Megargel, officiating, assisted by Reverend Julie Smith of Lubbock, Texas. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Darlie was born on October 1, 1934, in Bowie, Texas to the late Ocie Emory Posey and Mabel Lillian (Doan) Posey. She moved to Megargel in 1942. After high school graduation, she attended Draughon's Business School where she graduated in the class of 1955-1956. She was a retired bookkeeper. Darlie loved fishing and hunting, and was known for being the "town babysitter". She was a faithful member of the Christian Fellowship of Megargel.

Darlie was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Saundra May; and two brothers, Ocie Posey, Jr. and Wayne Posey.

Darlie is survived by her two sons, Robert Guerra of Megargel, Texas and Justin Black of Oklahoma; one daughter, Heidi Jo Acuna and husband Bobby of Sentinel, Oklahoma; one sister, Joyce Kellar of Olney, Texas; two brothers, Lewis Posey of Archer City, Texas and Johnny Posey and wife Charlotte of Megargel, Texas. She is also survived by multiple grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
