Darrell M. Tubb, age 78, died Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at Grace Care Center in Olney. Private family memorial services will be at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Darrell was born September 10, 1938 in Calexico, California to the late Leon Eric Tubb and Charlotte Aldell (Mansir) Tubb. He served in the United States Army for three years and the Navy for two years and served two tours of duty in Vietnam. He moved to Olney in 1996 from El Cajon, California and was a retired grocery store clerk. He was preceded in death by his parents, his step-mother, Margret Archable Logan Keylar Tubb; his half brother, Robert M. "Bobby" Tubb; his step-sister, Sandra L. Rowlett, and a nephew, Gary Tubb.

Darrell is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Tommy and Diana Tubb of Olney; a brother, Leon Tubb, Jr. of Granbury; step-brother, William G. "Billy" Rowlett; step-sister, Linda Skelton and husband De Mell of Cathedral City, California; grandson, Thomas Tubb, Jr. of Olney; granddaughter, Krista Leemann and husband Marshall of Oakridge, North Carolina; three great-grandchildren: Taylor Tubb, Blake Leemann and Quinnlynn Leemann; and several nieces and nephews.
