David Hall, age 71, passed away on Saturday, June 12, 2021, at his home in Olney surrounded by his family.  Family visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 13, 2021 at Lunn Funeral Home in Olney. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, June 14, 2021, at the Graham Church of God in Graham, Texas, with Bishop Dawayne Barnett, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Restland Cemetery in Olney. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

David was born on March 8, 1950, in El Paso, Texas, to the late Frank and Lillie Sue (York) Hall. He enlisted in the United States Army on May 31, 1968 and served valiantly during the Vietnam War. He earned the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with 2 Bronze Service Stars, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, Army Commendation Medal and Sharpshooter (Rifle) Medal. David married Patricia Ann York on July 17, 1970 in Honolulu, Hawaii. She preceded him in death on March 4, 2007. He later married Donna Sue Maples on July 31, 2010 in Olney. He was a member of the Graham Church of God and was a retired Postal worker.

David is survived by his wife, Donne Sue Hall of Olney; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Billy James Hall of Wichita Falls, Jonathan Henry Hall and wife Lacey of Muleshoe, and Benjamin Ray Hall and wife Shayla of Archer City; one daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca Sue Ranjel and husband Randy of Wichita Falls; three brothers, Richard Dale Hall of Clyde, Jesse Bruce Hall of California, and Ernest Jay Hall of Clyde; two sisters, Betty Ann Smith of Fresno, California and Frankie Lynn Willis of Clyde; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
