David Carlton Miller, age 66, of Olney, Texas, died Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at Hamilton Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 11, 2011 in the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home, with Scotte Clark officiating. Burial will follow in Restland Cemetery. Arrangements are under the ion of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

David was born March 12, 1945 in Olney, Texas, to Ellis and Annie Lee Hamilton Miller. David loved his family, and he loved the outdoors especially golfing, hunting, and fishing David was a member of the North American Fishing Club, and served in the Army during the Vietnam War where he became a certified Sharpshooter and received the National Defense Service Medal. David was a lifetime resident of Olney, and a member of the Hamilton Street Church of Christ. He retired from the manufacturing industry.

He is survived by his wife, Climmie Miller of Olney, Texas a son, Roy Don Miller and wife Sherry of Amarillo, Texas a sister Virginia Abbott and husband Don of Longview, Texas and three grandchildren Tryston Miller, Garrett Miller, and Rylee Miller.

Visitation will be on Friday, June 10, 2011 from 6:00 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home
