David Winn, age 61, died October 6, 2014 in Olney, Texas. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 10, 2014, at Restland Cemetery in Olney with Louis Golden, pastor of Rising Star Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

David was born on June 21, 1953 in Ft. Worth, Texas to the late Adolphus K. and Willie Omazell (Pace) Winn. He was a lifelong resident of Olney and a member of Rising Star Baptist Church. He was a past stadium manager for the Dallas Cowboys for nearly eighteen years, had worked for Olney Door and Screen, and owned and operated Big D's B-B-Q. He married Lisa Parker on February 12, 2000. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Raymond Cole.

Survivors include his wife, Lisa Parker of Olney; three sons: James Winn of Ft. Worth, Joseph Rogers-Winn of Wichita Falls, and Donivan Winn of Olney; two daughters: Karene Parker and Ara Winn both of Olney; brother, Craig Austin of Ft. Worth; sister, Wanda Atkinson of Ft. Worth; and numerous grandchildren.

Family visitation will be on Friday, October 10, 2014 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
